Rebecca Joann Brumfeld – Meagan has been a tremendous sounding board for me through my journey as a multi passionate entrepreneur. She helps me define what is the most important thing to focus on with my goals, and what to delegate out. Heidi Veronika – Where do I begin with writing about what it is about my good friend, Meagan Holub, that inspires me? Anything I say will be an understatement, such as capturing a picture of the moon. A mutual friend of ours introduced us and Meagan came into my life 6 months after I was medically battered into paralysis, after surviving a catastrophic collision with a convicted impaired EMT. Meagan called me to extend her support and offered her hand in friendship during a time for me when I certainly was happy to have help from anyone. Little did I know then who this woman was or how much of an impact she would have in my daily life. She called me when I was filled with overwhelming anger and sadness. Her call to me was genuine and comforting. It helped me tremendously and left a lasting positive impact on my spirit to carry on. Since that call, we became FaceBook friends and over the years I read her posts and was a part of her journey. I’m rarely impressed by people however this woman has raised the bar for me when it comes to strength, fortitude and grit. She is a wonder to behold. I found myself intrigued with her persistence to overcome the seemingly insurmountable obstacles laid before and her success rate at accomplishing her goals and solving issues or problems, Her focus and determination is breathtaking to say the least. Over the years, I have developed admiration for her coupled with a new found strength within myself to go against the forces that have crippled me. Her stories cause me to soldier on with a fierceness of truth that perseveres through the darkness on my path to the light. Meagan has a way with words and more importantly is her sincere care for others and those less fortunate than her. She has a keen sense and awareness of everything around her. Her humble spirit is open to other viewpoints when some do not agree with what she says. I must also point out that there were many times I was verbally attacked by people on FaceBook, over the years, over things that I posted. I’m always amazed that Meagan has the time, let alone, willingness to defend me on that platform, by coming in like a superhero and swiftly putting her insight into the mix. She has often deescalated, defused and informed others of their inappropriate behavior towards me, all the while uplifting my spirit in the process. Meagan is more than a good friend. This is where I’m at a loss for the words that can fully describe what an amazing woman she is. I’m more than grateful to know her and call her my mentor, SISU and role model. Thank you, Meagan, for simply being you!
